So mom made me a table runner. (She also made my Christmas one. I'm a lucky girl!) Mom and I are going to have a sewing session this weekend, so I can learn to do some basic things. I won't be making table runners any time soon, but maybe one day.

I am saving up money to pull together an everyday table setting, so I didn't want to spend too much for this Easter table. (Plus, I couldn't find a lot of things I was over the moon for.) Instead, I used some great green chargers I bought at a prop sale with my all-purpose white plates I got at Christmas. I found the bright green napkins to match the runner at Target. I repeated the wrapping-of-the-toilet-paper-tube for napking rings. (See a tutorial here.) I used pink and orange ribbon (all which match the table runner though it's hard to tell in these pictures). And I used my Cricut to cut out eggs and glued those on to the rings.

I made the centerpiece with paper mache eggs and glitter. I detailed it here. Oh yeah, and I got the vase at Home Goods for $6.

Cute Easter table! I found your blog through a linky on saving money living life(in a round about way). Cute blog, I'm now a follower. I am also embarking on sewing over the summer!
